I guess the Colts are looking to tank the season by having Kerry Collins start over Painter. I know Manning is irreplaceable, but you'd think that Painter who at least knows the offense on paper is a better choice than a guy who's been retired. Either Polian has no faith in his team's developmental system or he's tanking the season.

Tank the season and get Andrew Luck. He gets mentored by Manning for 2 years and then the Colts have another 10+ years of being awesome.

That was a great game between the Packers and Saints. Both Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees passed for 300+ yards and 3 TD.

But the key factors were turnovers: Marques Colston fumbled setting up a Green Bay TD and Randall Cobb's 108 yard Kickoff Return TD (Sorry, Cris Collinsworth, but Cobb's knee wasn't down).

Agreed. I'm no Cowboys fan, but what a performance. I also enjoyed seeing Donte Whitner getting burnt on that play.

I'd think that Jax is going to be awful and when their record is very poor after maybe 8-10 games, Gabbert begins getting the starts as the media pressure mounts locally and McCown sucks.

I wouldn't be surprised if it happened sooner, too.

Besides all that, I don't need him to produce this year, I just need to see if he'll be a league average or so starting QB next year so that I'll know if he's worth protecting. This definitely helps the chances that I get that look.
