Yeah. He will be missed. Great football player, a beast of a DE and a great personality. I remember how he use to always talk about how he thought Super Bowl III was fixed. And How can I forget Lt. Hightower. God bless you and your family Bubba!!

A healthy Barnett > Poz and it's not close. Brad Smith doesn't get me too pumped up, but Dareus and Kyle Williams do. Throw in Fitz getting a 2nd year in the system, a solid WR Corp, and promising O. We'll be 3rd this year, but split with the Fins and Jets. We'll still get crushed by the Pats though.

This makes me hate the Eagles that much more. Vick paid his debt to society. I have no ill will towards him trying to make a living. It's the filthy Eagles that are actually giving this guy that kind of money.

Wow. As a (the?) Jags fan, I'm not too thrilled about this. While not a good team, I thought J-Ville could at least be competitive in the weakened AFC South. It's hard to have much faith in McKown doing much of anything.

He should still be on the bench the whole year and was always going to be the starter next year, so this doesn't change too much with that regard.

I'd think that Jax is going to be awful and when their record is very poor after maybe 8-10 games, Gabbert begins getting the starts as the media pressure mounts locally and McCown sucks.

I wouldn't be surprised if it happened sooner, too.

Besides all that, I don't need him to produce this year, I just need to see if he'll be a league average or so starting QB next year so that I'll know if he's worth protecting. This definitely helps the chances that I get that look.

Yikes. A couple of my buddy's bet the other night on how many games Manning would miss. One insisted it would be no less than 5. We thought he was crazy. Maybe he had some inside info.

Sad, if true. As much as Manning has been a PITA for the Pats over the years, I've always respected him as a player. Hope everything is OK.
