2014 FIFA World Cup Qualifying - Asia (AFC)
AFC Fourth Round
Group Matchday 1-3 Fixtures: June 3-12, 2012
From FIFA.com
The final hurdle for Asian qualifying for Brazil 2014 starts June 3rd. 10 teams split into two groups of 5. The Top 2 from each group automatically qualify for Brazil 2014 while the third place finisher from each group compete in a two-legged play-off in September 2013 to see who will represent the AFC in a AFC-CONMEBOL Inter-Confederation Play-Off.
Will defending AFC Asian Cup champions Japan make it to Brazil automatically along with South Korea and the Socceroos from Australia? Or will sleepers like Iran and Iraq trip them up?

2014 FIFA World Cup Qualifying - North, Central America and the Caribbean (CONCACAF)
CONCACAF Third Round
Matchday 1-2 Fixtures: June 8-12, 2012
From FIFA.com
CONCACAF's heavy hitters are back in competitive matches for Brazil 2014.
Mexico has their heavy artillery back including former Chivas and current Manchester United striker Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez.
Meanwhile, it is the competitive debut for Jurgen Klinsmann as United States national team coach and he has Fulham forward Clint Dempsey and Los Angeles Galaxy winger Landon Donovan on his side.
Also in action is El Salvador and Canada where their U-23 teams stumbled and knocked the United States U-23 men's team out of qualifying for London 2012.
Finally, Honduras will look to build on their 2010 world cup qualification along with Panama and Jamaica who can give the CONCACAF heavy hitters some problems like they did in the 2011 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
12 teams split into three groups of four where the top 2 from each group advance to the CONCACAF Fourth Round aka the Hexagon round of qualifying.

Re: 2014 FIFA World Cup Football/Soccer Thread
Oh man the USMNT looked really good today. At first I thought they didn't have the technical ability to play such a narrow possession based formation successfully (as opposed to the England punt and hope style they've used for years) , but I'm glad I was proven wrong.
Looks like LD still has it. All he really needed apparently was to put on the USA jersey. I like the new design. And that goal by Bradley was a thing of beauty.
