Re: Official NHL Thread: 2011-2012 Season
That series was phenomenal and the game was outstanding. As always, it's a lot more fun to be in Boston when their teams lose than when they win.

It's not the 27 World Championships that drive the New York Yankees. It's the 28th.

Re: Official NHL Thread: 2011-2012 Season
That's pretty sad and pathetic. My father went to Northeastern University on a scholarship in the early 70's. Being new to Boston- and the country for that matter- he never experienced any kind of racism until he got to the Noetheastern campus. He was so disgusted about the treatment he got that he coudln't wait to leave. with the scholarship he had he was able to transfer to certain schools. So he wound up transferring to NYU after his 1st year.
He swore he would never go back to Boston, and to this day he hasn't. Reading some of those comments just reminded me of the things people called my father back then.
Kudos to the Bruins organization for condemning those comments.“I would like to take the great Di Maggio fishing....They say his father was a fisherman. Maybe he was as poor as we are and would understand.”
