European Domestic Football Leagues FT Scores: February 1, 2012
From Sky Sports and ESPN Soccernet
Italian Serie A
Defending Scudetto holders AC Milan failed to capitalize on Juventus's postponed match and go on top after a 2-0 loss to Lazio in a Coppa Italia rematch.
Hernanes gave Lazio a 1-0 lead in the 76th minute before Tommaso Rocchi sealed the win nine minutes later.
Udinese closed the gap to three points with a 2-1 victory over Lecce.
Michele Pazienza collected a Antonio Di Natale pass and slots it home two minutes in to give the Udine Bianconeri a 1-0 lead.
However, David Di Michele equalized for Lecce in the 26th minute.
But Antonio Di Natale scored the winner in the 36th minute.
Inter Milan's bid for a Top 3 spot suffered a blow after a 4-4 draw against Palermo.
Diego Milito scored four goals for Claudio Ranieri's men, but the Inter defense can't stop Rosanero's Fabrizio Miccoli.
The Palermo captain assisted on Andrea Mantovani's 16th minute goal before scoring a hat-trick.
Cagliari doubled up AS Roma 4-2 to move into the Top 10.
Ribeiro Cardoso Thiago's double and a goal and assist from Mauricio Ferreira Pinilla led the charge to sink Roma.
Napoli's European Football bid took another blow as they were held goalless against Cesena where Francesco Antonioli stymied the Napoli attack with a 10-save clean sheet.
The games between Bologna-Fiorentina and Siena-Catania were postponed due to weather problems.
