Re: The Red Sox Thread
Anytime Red Sox loses a game, it's a good day.

Re: The Red Sox Thread
Funny watching the natives sing along to to that Neil Diamond homage to an 11 year old girl losing by six runs.

Re: The Red Sox Thread
Caroline Kennedy was NOT losing by six runs when that song was written.
Rocking that "arrogant Yankee fan" attitude.

Re: The Red Sox Thread
Man, as bad as things are for the Yankees, it's downright ugly for the Sox. Mo aside, we have 15 day DL problems and maybe some #4/#5 pitcher problems.
They're on their 3rd string 3B, their starting pitching is in shambles, their bullpen went from horrible to worse and the clubhouse problems only got worse. Oh, and they still have Bobby V
A fool and his money can throw one heck of a party!

Re: The Red Sox Thread
Hey, Enjoy the moment y'all. I freely admit we suck. And that suckitude is thrown into sharp comic relief by the idiot Sweet Caroline singers and others who don't recognize a corpse when they see one. The Sox should finish last in the AL East, maybe 4th if they perk up. They were the 4th or 5th best team in the AL coming into this season, the 8th or 9th best after the injuries. They'll be back, but probably not for a couple of years, 'til they graduate some low minors guys. Free agent help may not be forthcoming, thanks to Carl Albatross. My main fear is that the front office, already shorn of credibility, may attempt heroic measures on a DNR 2012 Red Sox Patient and mortgage the future to try to save the season. Hospice measures are called for. Build for 2014.

Re: The Red Sox Thread
Darnell McDonald actually looked pretty good to the two last batters he faced. He was hitting the corners with a mid-80's fastball. He's probably an upgrade over Buchholz.

Re: The Red Sox Thread
Bobby V may be out soon...this is unreal. Our problems look a lot better when you watch the Sox play

Re: The Red Sox Thread
The Sox bullpen must be spent after throwing more than 25 innings in the last three games. It's too bad they don't have an off day in the next 2 1/2 weeks.
