Is Jerry Remy blind? There is no way this ball is fair. The best look is at approx 1:02 (replay) and even then Remy and his partner insists it's fair.

That said, I'm sure as hell enjoying this.

And I'm happy, but the season hasn't ended and neither has this game. Are they in the midst of a collapse? Possibly. Have they? Not yet. Can they recover and win it all? Possible. Have they played terrible baseball the past couple of weeks? Absolutely.

On the bright side, good thing that Lackey does a great AJ impersonation.

I'm pretty sure that was Theo's attempt to one-up Cashman

Does Lackey try to top Carl Crawford's public apology for his performance this season?

On that note, anyone else think that AJ should start on short rest vs. Tampa? Both games of the doubleheader, even?
    42 is the answer

Gets to see even more of AJ Burnett now!

I can go for that. I'd even bring him in from the pen to relieve his own game.

Lots of boo's for Lackey. He didn't even seem phased as he walked off the mound in the 5th although I'm sure it bothers him.

Not out of the question considering he's lucky to get out of the 4th inning anyway.
If they ask who was our star, give them 25 names, and if you forget our names, just tell them we were Yankees.
