Re: The 2011-2012 New York Knicks Thread
Not too upset. Chandler wasn't himself after banging his knee up and we were a little outmanned as a result down the stretch. I do think Woody could have been more on top of things offensively. We had some ugly possessions there down the stretch, but, mostly, we couldn't stop them. Without stops there were zero transition oppy's which obviously hurts a team like this.

Im not impressed by the heat. The knicks have one offensive threat at this point and they still almost won the game....and should have.
Deja vu all over again

If Amare can bring something, they can compete w/ anyone in the first round. If not, they're going to have to go all out and hope for the 6th seed, and then wait for Lin to jump in and help.

Not scared of Miami. If we get Amare back, we can take them.
Again...the effort was there today. They cant play any harder. Just tough to beat a top team when you're undermanned.

They're chanting "Boston s**ks" at the Yankee game and right now, I kinda dig it.

Re: The 2011-2012 New York Knicks Thread
So...the Knicks can use their MLE to keep both Lin and Novak...right?
JR picking up that player option would be a minor miracle.

Re: The 2011-2012 New York Knicks Thread
I'm starting to think (hope) that Novak won't get floored with offers. He's incredible, but maybe a catch & shoot guy only has a role on teams who are maxed out. I'm hoping that teams with space want to spend on a guy who can create and defend a little better, leaving him to stay here.

And he's back on the court. Guess he studied drama under Pierce.
