Re: The 2011-2012 New York Knicks Thread
There is a mural of this picture in my section at the Garden, and from the moment I saw the seats in the preseason I laugh at it ever time I go by.
I've meant to post this here ever since (I've taken pactures of it to do so), but have forgotten every time. Just now seeing the image online reminded me again...
So, does anyone else see what I see?

Amar'e is continuing to get his game back to full swing. He's seemed to have benefited the most from the slower pace, imo.

Another day, another underappreciated Knick, though. Where are the headlines praising Iman Shumpert's nightly 20+m of high strung, pick-pocket defense?"My rhythm is back," Stoudemire said. "My strength is back. My timing is back. Again, I rehabbed my back the whole lockout, didn't play basketball — contact basketball — for six months; the most I was ever away in my life, since I was a little kid. I feel great."

Another Friday Night Knicks performance that makes me want to drink myself to sleep. When we won last week it was because they were featuring music from Sting. GFY Robert Randolph.

I love you Novak but flashing the belt down double digits is a no-no.
Funny how Doug Collins was just saying the Heat and Bulls don't want to see the Knicks in the playoffs. The Knicks don't want to see the Raptors in Toronto.

....and this is why the team is where it's at. You have to beat these bad teams.

Didn't they beat Toronto a couple of times before.

I don't want to pick on Lin but outside of the Valentine's day game vs Toronto, has he had any good games on the road?

Re: The 2011-2012 New York Knicks Thread
JR Smith is too much like Jamal Crawford to enjoy watching. If he's on, everyones happy, but it only happens one out of every 3-4 games. I guess he's a much better athlete, but he rarely seems to use it
Ultimate credit for this one has to go to Tyson and Amare though. Inconsistent interior D, and i cant count the number of alleyoop passes or easy dunks/layups they completely blew. whatever, nobody really felt like playing i guess

Re: The 2011-2012 New York Knicks Thread
I think he's been just fine on the road outside of Miami and Boston. I wouldn't even say he was that good on V-Day until late. The bulk of the 6 game losing streak was on the road, so maybe there's just a bad association. Of course this is just working off memory and box scores and not looking at tape of some of his bad defensive efforts.
