Re: The 2011-2012 New York Knicks Thread
WTF Mike Francesa is talking about?
He keeps saying Chandler "is not a good finisher". What?
These radio people are killing me.

Knicks ditched the black in their center court logo.
Next is getting new uni's next year. Not really new though. More vintage.

I don't know how much more of Amare I could take.

Re: The 2011-2012 New York Knicks Thread
Melo is making good and fast decisions... and making his shots.
Lin's taking care of the ball and dishing.
That's two out of three now. We just need Amare now.

No defense and 2 or 3 possessions killed by poor officiating. Amar'e didn't even make contact on that "charge". How does Luke Harangody get the benefit of the doubt?

Re: The 2011-2012 New York Knicks Thread
A few times already I've seen 4-5 Knicks around one Cavs player and the Cavs player still managed to get the offensive board.

Re: The 2011-2012 New York Knicks Thread
I don't care what anyone says, I think Melo was taking a shot at D'Antoni when he mentioned how he like the way the Heat prepared.
And he would like to see the Knicks do that.
I've said before there are too many nights when this team looks unprepared. Mainly against bad teams.
btw. This team looks much better when Lin is attacking. He's deferring too much. imo

Jeremy, my man, the entire league knows you're a bigger scoring threat than Amare now. Amare's open because they aren't even guarding him anymore.

I just don't understand these rotations.
Why isn't Shumpert in with the starters, guarding Irving? Instead he's off the bench to guard Sessions.
Makes sense. smh

The FT thing is beyond ridiculous at this point.

I thought the extra practice time was supposed to do wonders for this team.

Re: The 2011-2012 New York Knicks Thread
They didn't have much practice. Only practiced yesterday. The NBA didn't allow teams that played last Thursday to practice Monday.
Melo needs to be more involved. D'Antoni needs to figure SOMETHING out. He's your best scorer. Utilize him.
I'm saying this until I'm blew in the face. Fields should not be starting. The reasoning earlier was he wanted Shumpert's energy off the bench.
With J.R here, you don't need that.
Lin needs to stop trying to fin in and attack. His the second best scorer after Melo. Forget Amar'e.
There's a reason why he's been open all year....

Re: The 2011-2012 New York Knicks Thread
I understand the ISO pain, but Melo has to be allowed 3 seconds, once in a while.
