Re: Lets Go Rangers! 2011-2012 season thread
Ottawa definetly dominated the first 12 minutes or so....great timeout by Torts. Changed everything...Rangers controlled the rest of the period.

Just got in, been getting text updates for the first two.
Has the officiating really been as bad as I was told?

Pretty much what I expected. Ottawa's skating is giving them trouble for stretches, but they're forcing them to take weak shots and Lundqvist has been terrific.
Anisimov has been our most consistent skater tonight. Very happy to see him play so well.

Nice job by Rupp to get Neil off for 10 minutes....doesnt give him a chance to goon it up down 4 goals

I'm happy that the 3d period played out like that. It should give the coaches a chance to drum it into the players that you can give up goals in a hurry if you dont focus for 60 minutes.

My roommate works for the TD Garden and wants the Bruins and Celtics eliminated ASAP so he can have more free time. I'm going to give him credit for that hit on Krejci.

Re: Lets Go Rangers! 2011-2012 season thread
Supposedly the coaching staff told Kreider to closely watch Hagelin all game long....how he uses his speed with the puck, but also without the puck i.e puck pursuit and just flying around trying to make plays. Good call, because Hagelin was awesome last night doing just that. The steal and setup to Richards was a thing of beauty.

I'm guessing we see him if the Rangers are up 3-0 in this series.
If not, the second round.

Jesus, these refs are so f*cking incompetent. Dubinsky gets tossed for no reason.

God forbid Dubi tries to help his defenseless teammate. Bad application of the third man in rule.
