And not just in the game threads either.
I thought it was just me but I've really noticed a change for the worse in the general tone of the forum. A lot of the newer members--and we seem to be drawing a lot more newbies lately--are just nasty.

I also wish we could bring back the rule that new members can't start new threads right away. That has also become problematic IMO.

Can anything be done about the same group of negative posters in the ITLs? They have very few positive things to say and like I just said, a big reason many of the regulars don't go in ITL anymore is because of a host of newbies and not-so-newbies that continually post negative remarks about the team. It's really sad that people don't go there anymore and it's mainly because of that. It's not even difficult to figure out who they are. Just wondering if it is something that's trying to be worked on. I know you guys have a lot on your plate and there does not seem to be enough mods (natch) but I was just wondering if something may be done about it. GTs also but I'm really noticing it in the ITL.

We are definitely aware of the constant negativity of some in the baseball forums, and more suspensions and bannings are a virtual certainty.
We are also trying hard to get more mods on board. That's something that has to be done at the administrator level, which is sort of a grey area at the moment.

They weren't dropped on purpose. When we changed vbulletin versions last fall the link didn't come along with the rest of the information...don't really know why. The CS will be soon re-established, probably not as a link but as a sticky thread. We're working on it.
