On categories: Net saves and Net stolen bases over their regular counterparts if we can ... really accentuates guys who straight out steal and hardly get caught like Gardner, Ellsbury, Pierre over guys who get caught a lot like Figgins ... same thing goes for saves.

Also, for the - sabermets - can we have either OBP or SLG % and not both ? thanks

Pretty much. Seriously, you don't have to do a thing other than register for the league prior to the draft. You don't have to do anything on the actual draft day.

You can also pre-rank players as much as you want. So if you reallllly like Robinson Cano above all others, you could rank him #1, and if he's available whenever you pick, that selection will automatically be made. You could leave it at that, or pre-order 5, 10, 50, or all of the players (up to 270 in our league, I think).

Thanks so much for that info. I feel better knowing it's not that big of a deal since I won't be around a computer that weekend. I may even end up with a better team. Or I might end up with sh*t. We'll see.....

Haha, I wouldn't worry about it too much. For at least a few of us, part of the fun is trading with other league members right after the draft because you realize that (either b/c of auto-pick or your own stupidity) you drafted 4 1Bs and no SS.

Sucks to miss the draft though. It can be crazy and a lot of fun. For instance, I'm going to have a blast selecting Thebo's favorite players right before he does, just for spite.

Pitching categories will be updated a bit. You'll all know the categories prior to the draft.

Draft scheduled for 5:15 PM EST on the 20th. I originally had it at 7:15, but about time I finished there were no more 7:00 time slots. Just 5 and 11 pm.
