Last year Long talked about how ARod was a bit reluctant to put weight on his hips.

Now I am assuming that carried, at least somewhat into his defense.

Kevin Long says he hasn't seen ARod swing this well since 2007.

I conclude it's very likely ARod will improve defensively this year too.

For someone who uses a lot of stats to back up his posts, that is a big statement.

I honestly can see a few of these 5 these happening this season for A-Rod

1. He hits 40 homeruns
2. He passes Ken Griffey Jr and Willie Mays on the all time Home Run List.
3. He Passes Lou Gehrig on the all time Grand Slam List
4. He leads the Yankees to the postseason.
5. He wins the MVP

This potentially can be a massive season for Alex. I honestly cannot wait until 6pm today.

I took him in the 1st round in my most competitive league because i'm almost sure he's gon put in some serious work this
season. AL will get it in. I'm not so quick to call an MVP cause theres some stiff comp out there, but he will be in the convo.

I agree with you on the gut feeling. I feel it too. I can just see A-rod having a monster season this year.

Yep. I thought the same thing from his very first swing in spring training. He just looks locked in. I love the way he is swinging the bat.
