What's your carrier and manufacturer? I'd go online and request a repair estimate.
Or you could take it to my boy Charlie down the block ... who does a few "repairs" on phones for a "reasonable price" ... and would NEVER cheat a li'l old lady from Pasadena of her savings on a phone repair.

Re: So, who got a Droid?
I keep meaning to comment about this.
The last OS upgrade put the newest Google thing on my Razr Maxx that is supposed to be like Siri? I forget what it's called off the top of my head.
Anyway. It's sort of creepy-amusing-convenient. Creepy/amusing as in if I am logged into Google at work and search for, like, Red Ribbon bakery (home of ube cake LOL) the next time I look at my phone, directions to Red Ribbon bakery in Jersey City will be on the Google screen. LOL.
And it alerts me when there is heavy traffic on my commute home...my phone just buzzed loudly to tell me that.
Stalker phone.

Re: So, who got a Droid?
I think it's called Google Now. I don't really have a need for that stuff, but I do sometimes ask it questions.
