Who likes the new look to NYYFans

So what do we all think of the new layout of the site? So far I like it, although it will take a while to get use to it. The only thing I've noticed is that pictures and links in our signatures show up with the codes around it, or no photo at all.

I don't understand about the photo stuff. Over in the History section, Brads terrific post ... Re: Great Yankee photos ... sadly seems to have taken a big hit. Looks like a lot of nice pictures are no longer there. Does anyone know why that would happen? Does it have something to do with space or size? Can some people see the photos ... and others can't?

Seems like they still might be working some bugs out. The "Go to first new post" or whatever used to be go to last post (why the awkward name change?) doesn't appear to be functioning as intended, unless it's just me. I haven't been able to use it to return to my last post in a thread. This was invaluable interface that needs to be ironed out.

I was hoping for bigger signatures in terms of space, but it looks like they've been set to 50 characters. That just...sux. You can't do anything with 50 characters.

Other than that, it just going to take some getting used to.

its awful. the useless envelope icon is too big, and the "go to first new post" button, which is very useful, is now too small

I anticipate the same type of reaction here as I see whenever facebook changes their format. "OH my g0dz11!!11! sign the petition to bring old nyyfans back11!1!"

I would guess it's just an updated software that doesn't have as many bugs.

Most people dislike change...If it aint broke why fix it. its like Old Yankee Stadium vs New Yankee Stadium. Pro's and Con's on both ends of the argument but @ the end of the day to borrow modified lyrics from the Black Eyed Peas/Fergie Ferg...this new site looks so "3008 and less 2000 and late"

Ewwww! I don't mind the new format, but the scheme needs a change. Maybe it's too much white vs. the old gray, but this is kinda hurting my eyes and giving me a headache.

My only question so far -- on the "Quick Navigation" at the bottom of each thread, there used to be a "GO" button. Now, if I want to jump back to the forum I was reading, I can't seem to figure out how to do that without going to the top of the page or reselecting the quick navigation link at the bottom. Anyone else notice that?

I don't particularly like it. Especially because it makes my once-seamless NY avatar now look like it's in a box. That being said, 1) My opinions doesn't matter and 2) I'll get used to it.

I think the new look of NYYFans is sickening. Too much negativity. People who don't realize it's a long season. Folks who boo Yankee Players for not getting a base hit every trip to the plate. Spoiled they are, I tell ya.
