Brackman called up
During the Steinbrenner ceremony, I noticed a guy wearing #64 standing with the rest of the players, I did a little digging to see if it was indeed Brackman and I came across this:

Re: Brackman called up
Maybe not:
10:54pm: Mark Feinsand says the team has denied the report and Brackman has not been called up. So much for that.

Re: Brackman called up
Just checked the roster, seems that Sanchez now has #64.

It is certainly possible that the Yanks may elect to bring Brackman up this way- and I suspect Montero and Romine might also get such treatment at some point- maybe when the Red Sox are formally eliminated (possibly by this weekend).

Yeah, Francesa just said that Brackman is with the club.
"Owning the Yankees," Steinbrenner once said, "is like owning the Mona Lisa."

Makes no sense. Brack is on the 40.

I really don't understand why Brackman can't get a few innings.

Re: Brackman called up
It's only 34 innings more than last season's total. I'm not saying to give him regular work but I don't see how an inning or two to give him some ML experience can hurt. He's on the 40 man roster, no moves need to be made to activate him so it's not like someone needs to be DFA'ed.
