I'm very excited about touring Europe someday and plan to spend a lot of time in Germany.

We got thos buffets a lot lately. All you can eat became very popular the last few years.

Everything and everywhere, but mostly I'm interested in the small towns and villages where tourism is light. Hopefully I'm still fit enough to do some hiking in the foothills to the mountain ranges. We have a very limited history here in the U.S. to look at, but in Europe there are hundreds/thousands of years of history to learn about and explore.

It's not my cup of tea either but it's fine for what it is. I think living in area with a huge Italian American population and Italian cuisine spoils us a little (the recent census places CT as having the highest pct of citizens in any state claiming Italian heritage)

Apple Valley is very far, I'm pretty sure. I once stopped at a place called Apple Valley Inn on the way back from San Francisco. If that is it then it is very far.
Will you be in NY in July or just June? I will be there part of July and part of August.

That can't be right. It's only a 5 hour drive from AZ to where they are in Apple Valley. I think it's closer to San bernadino county maybe? I know she mentioned that she isn't that far away from LA. I'll have to ask her again. I know for sure it's definitely not near San Francisco tho. Lol

Forgot to tell you guys what happened a few days ago....... Sophie got Kev's vicodins out of his gym bag, brought the vial upstairs, took the top off with her teeth and 30+ pills were spilled all over the bed. Thank God she didn't eat them or she would be gone. JHC Stupid dog. I must have woke up abou 5x that night, just thinking how awful it would have been had she OD'd.

No, what spoiled me was growing up Italian. If I can get better food at home why would I go to The Olive Garden? Any Italian restaurant I go to had better be good.

I didn't say I went there when I was in San Francisco, I went there on my way home from San Francisco so that would probably mean it is somewhere around halfway from SF to LA. Ask her how long of a drive it is to L.A. from Apple Valley.

Too bad you won't be in NY in July. Maybe I can meet up with some other people when I am there.
