I finally took my wife out to dinner last night for her birthday (which was at the beginning of the month). I tipped off the waiter it was her birthday - they brought out dessert singing happy birthday. She kicked me underneath the table.

My work was done.

I wrote in the Things I Like thread that my kids are involved in Unified Theater and Sports. My middle kid just came home and told me about a kid named Armand that just learned how to snort like a pig so he was playing basketball snorting like a pig. He absolutely loves going there on Sunday afternoons and playing sports with the kids.

I love how compassionate my kids are.

Last year my daughter-in-law brought some candles to the restaurant for my wife's birthday and had them put it on the dessert. The candles and flame were so big I thought the restaurant was going to catch on fire as they were walking with it to the table.

Oh and the 1 candle's wick was like nonexistant so my sister stuck a toothpick in the candle and lit the toothpick. We had a good 20 seconds to sing Happy Birthday in English & Arabic before the toothpick burned out

My kid already snorts. He's probably teaching the kid on Unified Sports to do it.

I asked what they do when he gets a basket and he said he (my kid) and all his buddies high five him and jump up and down. That really warmed my heart. I wish I was exposed to stuff like this growing up. They didn't have anything like Unified Sports when I was in school....that I know of anyway.

Thanks Muggs....and my daughter does the Unified Theater - the students help the special needs kids put on a play/show. They work with them throughout the year and have a big show at the end of the year. It's really great.

For anyone who is as bothered by winter as I am, may I heavily recommend taking Vitamin D. I already took a Centrum but I've added a 1,000 MG Vitamin D pill to my daily diet and it is helping me.
