After I ran yesterday we all took a walk at the res which was 3.3 miles or maybe it's 3.5....we took the dog too. Was fun except I was freezing (didn't dress appropriately) and starving (was ready to eat bark off the tree i was so hungry...i had forgotten to eat)....anyway, the husbands knees and hip are bothering him a lot today so he is now thinking of pushing up the date on his double knee replacement. omg....shoot me now. Please.

I stopped by a house yesterday and everybody was pretty much 3 sheets to the wind already when I got there. They were discussing Tiger Woods (what else do you talk about in a social setting these days) - one guy says "I don't understand why Tiger Woods would cheat? He has everything to lose. How stupid can he be? Now me - I should cheat. I have nothing to lose." And with that his wife slugged him on the side of his head. We decided it was time to leave.

Yes how about you Shirley? I got Yankee slippers, a foolish looking Yanks t-shirt with a huge on the chest....not sure wtf the husband was thinking when he picked that one out.....goes along with the Giants shirt that is clearly manish. Um, the best was the sterling silver Yanks charm bracelet with 2 Yanks charms on it. I love it. I think I got something else Yankee-ish but now I can't remember.

Yankee slippers?! Hmm...sounds like my Santa still has some shopping to do for me

Let's see, I got a Mark Teixeira autographed baseball, a jersey, a Yankee calendar, a Yankee LED pen, and a couple of other nick-nacks.

Heading to the airport. My wife's going to Florida today. I head down on Tuesday, after my last day of work for this goin' outta bizness company. We need to get the little house ready for the 3 month tennants. That, and get a little relaxing in.

My wife woke up dizzy this morning. That's not a good thing for flying. I hope she snaps out of it.

How much snow did you get? It's just rain here. Boooo!

Maybe 6" tops. It would have been a heck of a lot more if all of the rain we had Christmas Eve would have been snow instead. It was tons of fun trying to clear off the drive. It's like a three-tiered cake with ice/sleet in between the layers of powdery snow. I was spinning my wheels (feet) trying to push the snow blower up and down the drive.


That's very cool about your slide transfer thing, Karen. Do you have to do them one at a time or can your load a bunch of them up all at once?

Hi Everyone. Hope you all are enjoying time with family and friends. It's been a fun few days. I'm totally burnt out building racetracks, traintracks, reading directions to games and gadgets. Mikey got a table top airhockey game. Everyone's pissed at me because I won't let him win. Where's that competitive thread again? I got some Yankee stuff...the championship season dvd. I got my parents a very cool photo of Jeter, Mariano, Pettitte and Posada holding the championship trophy in a beautiful frame. They loved it and will hang it in their computer room/den. I wanted to keep it but I'm a fan because of them, so they got it. See yas later.
