I wouldn't want to be Amish.
I wasn't around yesterday so let me offer you my congrats as well.

Actually, I'd love to be Amish. I could hide my huge butt beneath the dress and apron.

Speaking of the Amish - have you seen those commercials for Amish built electric fireplaces on TV? Am I the only one who finds the irony in that?

None of the Amish will see the commercial so what difference does it make?

Well, if you had an Amish built fireplace in your bedroom you would sleep like a baby.

It's hard to argue with that.

I read something somewhere about the Amish (generally the younger ones) being a huge source of growing pot. That struck me funny, too.

My friends works there and she continues to wear her Yankees scrub cap in the ER as well as her "It doesn't take brain surgery" t-shirt when she's doing surgery. She finds it appalling that they send the letter home and all the other crap that goes along with it. She showed me the letter.....it explains a lot about their pathetic team and fanbase. I find it sickening.

Jenn, we were cut from the same mold. I find it really gross that they do that.

If you look carefully, there's a small placque on the sidewalk outside the entrance that acknowledges this.
Columbia Presbyterian merged with New York Hospital and Cornell-Westchester to form New York-Presbyterian. It's all one big happy family now.
