I got a rock chip in my windshield today.

It's not in my line of sight, but close. I'm gonna keep an eye on it and hopefully it won't spread. But when that happened in my other car, one day I washed it and the cold water hit the hot windshield and it cracked across the whole thing.

Maybe I can have it repaired. Even though those repairs aren't perfect, it's better than replacing the whole windshield if I don't have to.

Yeah and even if they don't (for whatever reason - I'm sure she's got full coverage on that car ) those dumb ol' instant oil change places will do it for like $60.

Yes, I have full coverage. But even if I didn't, I'd be hesitant to let someone at a quick oil change place touch it. My hubby used to be in the auto glass business and no matter how good of a job the person does on the repair, it is always visible. I don't know. I'm just going to keep an eye on it for now.

They will pay for a whole windshield replacement with no deductible as well, if it isn't in a safe spot to repair or cracks into a larger area.

Not to be a name dropper, but I had a, uh, close relationship once with someone who worked for her. Maybe he still does? I presume he's going. It was a long time ago, and he's married now. And I haven't talked to him in probably 25 years. But he could have brought me anyway. Edit: Ah never mind...he does not still work for her. But maybe he's going anyway.

I just saw a photo of The Father Of The Bride taken today in the Super Secret Towne--holy carp he looked downright svelte...maybe too much so!

Well, I can't picture him looking bad for his daughter's wedding. Now we just have to hope he doesn't hit on the bridesmaids. Or the waitresses - looking at his side girls, you get the feeling that he likes women a bit less classy than his wife (or likely his daughter's friends).
