Too yellow.

10000K looks crisp white-- my bulbs are 14000k. The blue brings out the greens, oranges and reds of the corals.

The only reason I ask is that the bluer the lamp temp, the more it washes out reds, yellows, browns, etc. I'm assuming your 14000K lamps have a CRI of around 65? Philips' used to have this link on their website that showed how different Kelvin temps affected different colors. I'll post if if I can ever find it again.

In any event, it is a beautiful display. I've always wanted a salt-water tank but, like you said, I don't need the expense or the PITA right now.

I'll take a picture with just the blue lights on when my main lights go off-- they're on a timer.
