So, I try turning on the downstairs computer. Nothing. Try the monitor. Nothing. Try the printer. Nothing. Look at the power strip..light is on.

Strange. Maybe the power strip needs to be re-set.

Unplug the power strip...unplug all the chords. Pull the power strip out and what do I find??????????

Some cat peed in it and shorted it out. Must have happened while I was cleaning the cat room today, which took me about an hour because I had to put away the Christmas village.

Why do we do this cat rescue again?

Well we just got back from basketball. My son's team played Hartford. DAMN, were they good! I could not believe how good these guys were. The coaches didn't even coach them.....they sat and watched. Our coach was walking back and forth and yelling....typical. It was so fun to watch the level of play with kids that play probably everyday together. Oh and we got smoked. 26-57 or something like that. Unbelievable players.

Just the power strip, and of course the carpet underneath will have to be cleaned and fumigated, and it's in a tough place to get at.

I don't have a roast. I thought about chili, but I don't have any beans. Whatever I make will involve convincing hubby to go to the store, preferably earlier than later.

They do find the most inconvenient spots to pee. One of the reasons we only have (inexpensive) throw/scatter rugs all over the house.

Sophie barfed on the fleece pad in her crate this morning. Big old pile of it. At least she went in there instead of the rug.
