I've heard that he has great mechanics.......The only thing is, I can not watch him pitch. I'd never seen highlights of Lincecum until I saw some clips on MLB last night and I had to turn it off - I felt like he was going to break his leg,. arm or other limb with that motion. I was just uncomfortable watching him.......but again, experts seem to think he's actually got great mechanics. Who knows? He needs a haircut, though - he looked like a girl when he was being interviewed.

What we should really do is exhume Walter Johnson and get a DNA sample. Then we can clone 2 or 3 of him and have an entire rotation of Walter Johnsons. Why not get the best?

I agree, he builds up a tremendous amount of torque which puts a lot of stress on a relatively small body. He's already started to have some back issues.
