JDPNYY's Question of the day #233 - Tuesday 11/17/09
Tuesday 11/17/09 - JDPNYY's Question of the day (#233):
Do you smile more or frown more during the course of a typical day?I don't like country music, but I don't mean to denigrate those who do. And for the people who like country music, denigrate means 'put down.'- Bob Newhart

I'd like to bet anyone that the vast majority of frowning freds either 1) just dont post on a message board like this or 2) won't be self-aware enough to know that they're that kind of pessimistic frowning miserably bitter person who frowns more than smiles.

I smile for most of the day. The members of this forum are hilarious, but so aren't my coworkers and boss.

Frown. Life is awful right now. Don't know if it will get better which is the biggest problem. Future.

turn that frown upside-down, my friend..... Life can be hard at times, but strangely enough, if you make an effort to smile, it sometimes works from the outside in. Try it.... what have you got to lose?

Re: JDPNYY's Question of the day #233 - Tuesday 11/17/09
Neither. I'm pretty stoic.
Its somewhat rare that I out-and-out smile. I'm more of a chuckle-and-grin type. On the other hand, it's also pretty rare that I frown. I might mope a bit when badness happens, but generally won't frown.
All that being said, I certainly think I grin more often than I mope, but smiling and frowning are too statistically insignificant to compare frequency.
