World Series Game 1: Pregame Talk and Weather Watch
Miserable as of 11am in Manhattan and Brooklyn. However, weather.com is calling for only a 20% chance of rain starting at 7pm and continuing on through the night. We know the Yanks want this game played so it leaves the option of CC in 1, 4, 7 open, and if the skies clear up at all, I'd bet on baseball.
My guess: 75% chance the game gets played.

I'll say - that the percentage of playing the game is much higher than 75%.

Raining sideways in midtown, almost looks like snow.

The bad news about that % talk is that weather.com also lists the chance of rain at 20% for noon. And it looks like it'll be raining heavily at noon.

According to the latest forecasts, at the most, there will be some drizzle around tonight. They will play this game.

I wonder if Joe will pinch hit Hinske for Swisher late in the game if Swish is stinking up the joint...

Yeah, it's down to a 20% chance of precipitation for the game. It's gonna be cold, though.

Im really confident about game 1. Im not that scared of Cliff Lee. I dont think hes faced anything close to the yankees lineup in a while. Plus Im not scared of Ryan Howard with CC on the mound, Howard is as hot as anybody but has a ton of holes in his swing and can be pitched to.

It was horrible in the city this morning when I went in for school, but now I am home, and I think it stopped.

I am going to be completely distracted during class tonight. Fortunately, I'll get home in plenty of time for first pitch.

This needs to be the game plan for all of the Phillies pitchers. Work the count, get the pitch count up and get into that bullpen.

For whatever reason the Angels series made me much more nervous. Don't know if that is a good or bad thing. Regardless, I will feel even better with a Game 1 win.
