I have 4 Tickets and yes, price in 213 is $75, whereas 212 was $60. The rep did say that I would have some more options if I only needed 2. I was happy to get row 9. Good Luck!

    Here's another upgrade story:
I got my call Monday morning. I wanted to move from 129 to 127B (which still pales by comparison to my seats in OYS section 261) but was only willing to pay the extra $25 per seat if I could still be on the aisle and stay in shade. I knew it was a long shot. My rep didn't rush me and I really believe he did look diligently--and he did come back with 1 option on an aisle in 127B. The seats are definitely closer to the field and have a better view--but they're either basking in sunlight or rain. He also said there are virtually no cancellations in 127B. So, I'm staying put. And I'm looking on the (other) bright side: 129 seats are $75/ticket and not $100. They're closer to Lobel's and, most importantly, the men's room! So I never miss a pitch!

Those 127Bs are gone. I got my call today at 2 and there was nothing in 127B I was told. The only upgrade available to me was at a higher price point 4 rows lower. I have 1996 Seniority

I don't want to go too far off the reservation subject-wise here, but now that my 2010 seat location has been established, and Gate 2 is the entry point with the shortest walk to our seats, I was wondering if anyone out there has had experience parking in the 164th street garage just beyond the gate 2 area. For games that we drive in rather than take train, I'm wondering if that would be the better option to park the car, and provide easy access to Deegan North after the game. Any thoughts? Experiences?

Also, do you think it's worth it to join Yankees Universe to get fast track entry through gate 2? Would they let our guests enter with us or strictly just cardmembers? Anyone have experience here?

Jessica made it sound like there were many choices in 200 level for pairs of 2 seats, my degree of difficulty was trying to get four together.
The seats 11 & 12 next to the 7 thru 10 that I took were also available at the time of the phone call. There were 6 together free there, which made me a little leery they might be obstructed view and there was a mass-bail from the area. Actually there is obstructed view but just not pitcher to catcher which was what I cared most about. I may not be able to see some play near first base, like a runner taking a lead off first, without the pole becoming slightly problematic, but that's more than acceptable to me for what else I did get.
I have two seats, so, based on what you're saying, I'm guardedly optimistic that I can improve my location. We'll wait and see how the rest of the week goes.

Can you provide the URL for the 3D seat viewer? I can't find it anymore on yankees.com

Obviously some people bailed on the Beam Suites for this year. They are available for purchase in the Yankees Premium section

Nice seats but not worth the markup.

    prices are $100, $115, and $135

seems a little lower than last year but I can't remember

seems like we had a few people bail on that 2 year deal...

Same prices as last year. I would like to know what the Yankees are doing (if anything) to enforce those contracts. I seem to recall that someone wrote in a thread here that they had received a nasty gram from the Yankees since he hadn't "promptly" paid his invoice.

It does seem strange that they would advertise JB seats on the website considering that they had such a "long" waiting list for these last year. Why not just call some of those people on the list?

i called a month ago about premium seating and they said they had plenty of jim beam seats available. the only problem, for me, is the full season requirement. i would gladly take 41 games in those sections.

I just got a call from Desron on behalf of my rep (Joe). Great guy.

I have a Sat plan in 420B row 13. Great seats right behind HP. I would like to be down a row or two to get out of the wind tunnel and I am currently in the middle of the row and would like an aisle.

What I can get is sec 422 row 12 on the aisle. I will try to stop by the Stadium tomorrow and check them out.

    1997 seniority.

Are they letting you hold the seats?

Just a note for those of you who get the call:

Please let us know your seniority year. It would help the rest of us keep track of where they are up to in the upgrade process. Based on Sparky's post, it looks as if they are into 1997 today. Hopefully, they will get through the 1990's by the end of this week.

I await my 1999 call as we speak.

For legal purposes, they might have to treat it like a lease, where the landlord has a duty to try to re-lease the premises. In other words, if your tenant walks out you can't just leave the property empty and sue the tenant for the balance of the lease until you have made reasonable efforts to rent it to someone else (and failed). I'm not 100% sure if it's the same under New York law, but the Yankees might have to try to market the seats before they can go after the original licensees for any deficit. Also, I would think the Yankees would prefer not to have the hassle and the negative publicity of suing former licensess anyway.

Yes, I did receive a letter (both e-mailed and mailed to my house) from the legal department of the Yankees stating that I was in breach of contract and that they would be be initiating collection actions within a week.

I did e-mail them several times explaining my situation, even offering to pay some sort of penalty for getting out of the contract. I never received a response. I have since paid all but a small percentage of what I owed them. While I would've liked to have held out a little more to see how far they would've went to enforce the contract, I was concerned that it might affect the other non-premium tickets I have, so I decided to go ahead and pay them.

I think the Jim Beams are hilarious because I sit in the section right behind them. I pay $25, guy 6 rows ahead in the Jim Beams pays $100. $75 extra for lounge access, bathrooms, and padding. Not worth it IMO.

Unless some nincompoops bought into 5-10 year contracts, I'd expect a price drop next year. They're worth a max of $75 ($10 more than Old Yankee stadium due to padding )

I upgraded from Weekday plan #1 in section 310 or 311 row 7,(or something close to that, i dont really know where they were cause I didnt attend 1 game in those seats, sold them all) to the 41 game plan in section 229, row 12. I just missed the shade by a few rows, not sure how bad the sun is there but I assume it must get hot, oh well. Rep gave me a few options and was extremely pleasant, helpful, and patient. I would say this, anyone looking to get into the bleachers, come up with plan B because they have none available. Not surprising though.
