I read a little about it, and she claimed that she tried indicating a lack of consent, but he allegedly threw her onto the bed and ... well.

I don't know if it's that part or the part about him allegedly kicking her out afterward. I have no idea who's telling the truth here.

I think it's a shakedown. I know most rapes go un-reported by women, but if she's brave enough to bring charges, something tells me she should want more than just money from the guy. If someone raped my daughter I'd be happier seeing the guy fry than making $400,000 off of him.

As for the ESPN not reporting thing, that's just unacceptable. They have their favorites (Red Sox, Patriots, Steelers, Cowboys) and protect them to no end.

yeah, i put something in the Steelers thread. There have been a few articles about and this is a classic case of unreturned love after the first encounter. Even the chicks friends have cut her off and see this as having no merit.
