I don't doubt it, but John is right that this isn't quite the same team without him. We shouldn't dwell on it, though. Plax's stupidity has negatively impacted the makeup of the team and now the Giants have to try to compensate.

This defense isnt the same without Osi either. I dont see anyone blaming losses on his injury when the pass rush is non-existent like it was today or against Cleveland.

No one is crying or upset about Burress. I'm making a point to the people that had their heads in the sand saying Burress' loss would be no big deal.

Go look at the 08 Giants thread. There were many saying the offense was still going to be just as explosive. Comparing them to the Patriots dynasty early in the decade.

Maybe they wont be as explosive..we wont know until we get a larger sample size. I mean you cant just throw away last weeks game against a team that only gives up 18 ppg.

But fudge me, this team can still win games and will win games. Far too many guys on Giants boards who are acting like this is the beginning of the end.

The thing is that we have two excellent DEs even with Osi. We don't have another receiver that's half the player Burress is.

I agree with you that it's pointless to cry about it, but I think what 161 and myself are saying is that this is a wakeup call for those who thought it didn't matter.

You know what? I was one of the few who thought that Plax absence was going to be meaningful. But I also don't think they'll be nearly as bad as they were today

This team will find another way to go about things like they have done throughout the past year.
Will we be as dominant? No!! But will we get it done? You better believe it.

Huge win for the Eagles. When they lost to the Giants, the first game, if affected them. Over the next two games, they tied with the Bengals and got clobbered by the Ravens. Then they turned it around against Arizona and pulled off a gutsy road win against the best team in the NFL.

It will be interesting to see where the Eagles go from here.
