Colon is pitching a gem against Oakland. Camera goes to the dugout, Colon is smiling. Kenny says, "Why is that man smiling? Because he's pitching a two-hit shut out." Colon starts picking his nose so naturally the camera cuts away. The very next words out of Cone's mouth: "The Yanks picked a winner when they picked him up in the off-season" OMG

Hah, I heard that too! I think you can say b*tch/SOB on regular TV but I don't know if there are certain guidelines for MLB games that broadcasters are supposed to follow.

Oh, good news then! Not a Flaherty fan (nice guy but monotone voice, I don't think he can help it though) but I enjoy the novelty of the Flaherty/Lorenz booth.

In other news, I really wish Cone would get a Twitter account. Bob, Kim, Flaherty, and Jack Curry all have one -- I can only imagine how funny Cone's would be!

I can't stand Kay and have been loving these games with Singleton and Cone. Singleton is the best play by play guy YES has IMO, and I find Cone to be a humorous and insightful counterpart. I like how he explains the SABR stats for the viewers who only familiar with traditional metrics. Not looking forward to the return of Ttttttseeeyaaa on the next home stand.
