    I don't think they have a fitted WS2009 pre-curved hat.
    Try this:

    http://www.amazon.com/Perfect-Curve-.../dp/B000209Z0O

I have one - I shape all my fitted caps with it.

They dont make the world series patch authentic caps with pre curve. You have to buy the flat brim and work the curve to your liking.

I wear mine in the shower. Or purposely go out in the pouring rain if I have the opportunity. It works and it actually takes away the new-ness of a hat which i can't stand. True story.

I was wondering if anyone knew a site I could grab a Yankees hat at? I'm looking for the 2009 world series patch on the side. 7 3/8 size. I've looked around on mlb, ebay, amazon and even checked steiner with no luck. I always planned on picking one up but never did for one reason or another.

I've only found one, http://www.ebay.com/itm/YaNkEeS-HaT-...item1c1eb7d699 but idk $53 for a hat seems kind of steep for me at least.

Down to 43-. Still a little high. I'm still going to look around for something less expensive.

I'm actually looking forward to it. There's nothing i love more than both our home and away jersey's, but every now and then something out of the ordinary is good.

From what I could find, these were the 1912 Yankee uni's, so the Yanks will be wearing the away uni.

Just out of curiosity what thought goes behind which jersey you choose to wear any given game?

    Re: Yankee Hats

Eh, kinda disappointing. I wasn’t expecting dead-on accuracy but based on the research I’ve done for my future Yankee uniform database they got a couple things wrong. First, the cap logo being used was the cap logo from 1966-1976 and is still mistakenly depicted as the “current” cap logo anywhere you look on the internet. Second, the 1912 uniform had partial placket piping and navy cuffs on the sleeve. Additionally, every picture I’ve seen from 1912 shows players with only one red stripe on the socks. Dressed to the nines is a tremendous resource but many details did slip through.
Overall though, the chest logo looks good, and I’m still looking forward to this game and wish the Yankees would wear throwbacks more often; it’s not like getting new uniforms…if it’s something the team has worn in the past then it is as much a part of the Yankee tradition as the current uniforms.
Here are a couple 1912 photos and my representation of what the uniform should look like.
