I essentially work in the ghetto so there's a reason for the different color schemes (customers here like matching hats with their outfits)

That's not all of it, I had to edit out the Sawx hats so some of the Yankee one got wiped with it.

We don't sell Red Sox hats because the geniuses over here have associated "B" for the Bloods (gang) and apparently wearing a red Boston hat is a one way ticket to getting shot.

Was at the mall Tuesday killing some time before round 2 of The Dark Knight and Lids had the July 4th Yankees stars and stripes logo hat so I picked one up. I was very excited because I thought they were online exclusive.

I used to have a bunch of Yankee hats but they have been misplaced over the years. The one I have now I have been wearing since the 2003 season, it's starting to turn green lol, I think I might retire this year along with the stadium. I really like the Authentic BP hats, I'll probably pick one of those up.

I decided to share some pics of JUST my Yankee fitted hats that have patches on the side. Personally, I only collect yankee fitted hats that the players wear (ie no fashion colored yankee hats) and that can be distinguished to a certain point in time/game or player. (ie WS, ASG or Special Event)

Technically, there is a new yankee hat every year ONLY when the All Star Game/futures game has a NYY representative in the respective games and they put the patch on the side (which has been every year since 1997) and IF they make the World Series or have an "special event" taking place during that year. But unfortunately only the size specific hats and NOT the flex fit have the patches. flex fit hats are only available in the BP style of yankee hat.

Speaking of hats, I have a brand new official fitted ERA fitted hat with ASG patch - size is 7-1/4 - I bought it as gift for someone, and it was the wrong size. $20 including free shipping.


Size is good for some adults and kids.
