My first reaction was only Nick Swisher was a big enough diva to care about how he gets announced/introduced during a game.

Really? I never though of him as a diva.

I'm with False that I think it's Russell Martin.

Speaking of Ramiro Pena, if he's still playing good defense, he's looking like a pretty good utility player so far.

Yeah, but he doesn't have Nunez's "live bat".

    Whatever the eff that means.

    My first thought too.

Nope. McAllister was traded beforehand & Quintana was deemed not worthy of a 40 man roster spot. Still noteworthy performances.

Melky received his World Series ring today, personally delivered to him by Giants manager Bruce Bochy. Melky requested it be done privately (as opposed to say, Nate Schierholtz, who received his on the field during batting practice) and apparently did not open the box.

Agree with you 100%. But, I think he will always hold a special place in fans' hearts because of his heroics in the playoffs last year. Was at the game and the fans showed him some love with each at bat. And each inning that he took the field he had a nice rapport going with the fans in LF, waving, saluting and tipping his cap to them. It's obvious that he loved his time here and the fans showed their appreciation.

Maybe Sterling picked up on that.
