According to the baseball-reference Play Index, his game score of -13 is tied for the 19th worst since 1918. That's the only game since 1918 with a game score of -13 or worse in fewer than 3 innings. It's tied for the third most earned runs allowed in an appearance of fewer than 3 innings.

Watched Brian Bruney close a game for the Charlotte Knights (White Sox AAA) last night in Charlotte. Stuff seemed pretty good- was sitting first base line so I couldn't see the motion as well as velocity
