Getting My Wisdom Teeth Out On Friday

Good News: Tommorrow is my last day of school until break (we don't resume school until the 7th, so in other words I can watch as many bowl games as I would like)

Bad News: Gotta get my wisdom teeth out, which should suck

I had a few of mine out a few years ago. Ugh. It sucked!!!! If you're really young you shouldn't have much of a problem. The older you get, the worse it is to have them removed. Good luck to you!

I iced for the entire day after mine were pulled and there was no swelling, granted they were not impacted. Good luck.

I had one side out and it didn't hurt at all and then the other side was like being hit by a sledge hammer in the face. Same oral surgeon.

All five (yes, five -- two on the lower right, IIRC) of mine were impacted, and it honestly wasn't too terrible. I had mine removed so young because my orthodontist was afraid they'd mess up all the work he'd done if they came in...and my parents didn't want that after all the money they'd spent on orthodontics.

It truly isn't that bad. I had five fully impacted wisdom teeth, and it wasn't a big deal. They knock you out for the operation, and give you medication for afterwards.

The only part that sucks is the bloody gauze in your mouth that constantly requires changing. That's gross, but thankfully it doesn't last long.

You'll be glad once you get it out of the way.

That actually happened to me . The time before last when I went to the dentist, I had a cavity (my first ever) and was told I needed my wisdom teeth out... then last time, no cavities and at least one of my wisdom teeth is growing in straight and doesn't need to be taken out.

two of mine grew in just fine. Dentists need to make money off young adults some how. Its that long period between braces and dentures, and they gotta hit you up somehow
