Has anyone managed to get in ahead of the army of computer programs ticket scalpers are using to buy up the holiday packs?

I haven't even gotten that far. This is an absolute joke. Same thing every season.

Ticketmaster is at least trying to stop the bots (http://www.sfweekly.com/2007-11-21/news/ticketmaster-chases-roboscalpers-to-sf), but like with steroids where the users are much more interested in getting steroids than the testers are in designing new tests to catch them, I think scalpers want tickets more than Ticketmaster wants to stop them.

I got plan 1 at 9:55 am, then all I got was errors untill 10:10 when I got plan 3

My last plan will be the Fujifilm... I have to wait to access their site, never mind the wait to get tickets?! does anyone know if waiting to access their site will finaly let me in, or will they just give me an error after 10 minutes?

Awesome: After 35 minutes of waiting, I got this beauty:

Because Ticketmaster has an almost-monopoly on ticket sales, they can charge you whatever extraneous fees they want. It's ridiculous.

Got in at 10, had an appointment with a client so I left the computer on. Checked back at 10:50 and went for Tier tickets. Pack #4, Section 11, Row W. Last year they released better seats during the season, so I am going to pass on being in the back back back section of the upper deck.

Oh, I've been waiting an hour. I was in at 9:55 but just got error messaages after requesting seats. Then Firefox kept giving me error messages to even load the original link; moved to IE and have been watching that scrolling bar ever since.

I got in like 5 times.. I ended up buying Wheel Chair Accessible seats (by mistake the website kind of flaked out and put me in that room I guess) anyway what are these seats like and what can I do to swap them out later on? You would think they would want you to prove you need WC seats first no? Buying these for my dad/mom for xmas but I dont want him to have a problem.. but at the same time I dont want to give up the better tickets..
