Thats pretty standard. You need to put in a deposit first and then wait after season ticket holders pay their invoices and then they contact you once availability is assessed.

Based on what I've read here do you guys think that this is due to immense demand (i.e. hundreds of people trying to purchase these packs) or ticketmaster just being ticketmaster?

My wife got us the Fuji pack. Terrible seats but for $5 I can't really complain.

I got through on the Fuji pack but best seats available were tier reserved row e section 35.... the very corner of the stadium upper deck. I let them go.
I got mine in blazing copper.

WOW. I have very high hopes for when individual games go on sale but this thread is crushing them. if the holiday packs are this hard to get i can forget about opening day and any mets or sox games.

Re: The First Official Waiting for Ticketmaster Diary for 2008
I would think that's right, but I was shocked that Opening Day was even available in a holiday pack. In fact, virtually every highly desirable game was available today, including OTD, all of the Mets games and all of the Red Sox games.

Re: The First Official Waiting for Ticketmaster Diary for 2008
Did anyone order the yankees holiday pack last year, or does anyone know if the tickets will be here before the holiday? (I would think that "holiday packs" would be here before the holidays)

Re: The First Official Waiting for Ticketmaster Diary for 2008
I started trying at 9:55 AM and finally got to the ticket page at 11:30. I purchased 2 seats in the Fuji Pack in Tier Box 668. It is hard to argue with seats that sell in other plans for $40 a pop for $6.59 a ticket!

Re: The First Official Waiting for Ticketmaster Diary for 2008
I don't know about opening day, but tickets for the Sox and other teams were released at different points during the season last year, so don't assume that you will be shut out. I passed on a Holiday Pack this year because I did not like the seating choices. Based on my experience last year, I think that better seats will become available for the premium games as the season progresses. Since it is the final year of the stadium, I suppose ticket demand could go up, and I'll be stuck with ebay or stubhub.
