I'll be excited for this. Do you have a link?

Re: Ian Kennedy called up
How come YES isn't saying anything about it on the postgame show?
It's all Cashman's fault!

Re: Ian Kennedy called up
Good luck, IPK!
Hopefully the Yankees give him the rest of the year, if his IP limit can take it.

Re: Ian Kennedy called up
Wasn't he already sent down to make room for Britton?

Re: Ian Kennedy called up
They need a spot on the 40-man for him but Saturday is Sept. 1., so no need to make a move with the 25-man.

Re: Ian Kennedy called up
nice to see. even if he does get rocked, he'll get some valuable experience for next year. hopefully he can do well and contend for a spot on the postseason roster (assuming we makes it).

Re: Ian Kennedy called up
Saturday is September 1, no 25 man move necessary. Now the 40, that's another issue.

Re: Ian Kennedy called up
Great news - one more young-gun-arm to enjoy a view of the next few years to watch. I really am looking forward to this kid. ESPN will have highlights - YES is not an option here. Good move starting him against the AAA+ as well.

Re: Ian Kennedy called up
Am I counting wrong or, excluding the 60 day DL guys, are there only 39 guys on the 40 man listed on the official site?

happy days are here again!!!
David
I know what kind of pitcher Whitey was and kind of person he is. It makes me feel proud to be a Yankee. We're keeping this in the family. (On breaking Whitey's PS consecutive scoreless innings)

Re: Ian Kennedy called up
Hell yes. I like it. Imagine where we would have been without Joba, Phil, and now Kennedy. Probably starting Brett Tomko (blech) along with others, or trading what was left of our minor league system for more pitching. Props to Cashman for the way he's ensured that we've got our bases covered.

Re: Ian Kennedy called up
That's confirmation, but how can YES not even mention such a big news item?
