Pilot Pen Tennis Finals
I'm so glad James Blake and Mardy Fish are in the men's finals today. The J-Block should be in full force in New Haven!
My son and I have tickets to both the men's and women's matches; we're both rooting for Blake and the women's final should be interesting. The #1 seed Kuznetsova is up against an 18-yr. old from Hungary.

Pilot's shouldn't be writing when they're flying a darn plane.

I stopped at Dunkin Donuts the other morning and there was a Pilot Pen Courtesy Car parked out in front. Of course it was a Mercedes... if you're going to have a courtesy car, what the heck, it may just as well be a Mercedes.

I went to the tournament Wednesday afternoon, and had a good time. I'm thinking about going tonight too.
I went to the final a couple of years ago when Blake won. Everyone was going crazy."They're going to send me back to Omaha, and I don't even live there." - Rube Baker

I checked the price tag for one of them. $126,000.

Blake beat Mardy Fish 7-5, 6-4. Blake should have won by more, because he allowed Fish to break back when he was up 4-1 in the 2nd set.

I couldn't believe how many times they broke each other! But no big surprise in the end that #6 in the world beat #50. Great warm up for the Open, though.
