Re: All-Star Thread
Just because Alex Rodriguez is wearing a suit doesn't mean that he needs to loosen up. I think it's good that he looks professional.

^ I thought the suit was odd too, but its Alex. He seems to like suits.
Vlad is like a freak of nature. So huge.

Re: All-Star Thread
Perhaps he didn't want to do the interview. And what exactly is fun about an interview anyway? I saw him having plenty of fun on the field with fellow players. I saw him smile plenty when he was with Pujols and Bonds. But what is fun about talking about this boring Home Run Derby and being asked the same old dumb questions ad nasuseum?

Vladimir Guerrero with 5 HR. Tied with Matt Holliday and Alex Rios for the lead.

I didn't hear the part about him going out to dinner. That changes a lot. I usually wear a neon green jersey when I go out for a fine meal.

I love wearing suits. I also love having fun. A contradiction, it would seem!

Eh. I'm certainly not going to begrudge the guy for wearing a suit but it's definitely a bit awkward when everyone is having fun in their All Star uniforms except him.

I didn't realize complimenting Pujols and wearing a suit (going to dinner) implied he wasn't loose or having fun. But ARod's fair game!

I have to say Alex's suit is quite nice. A lot of times he wears very... ummm colorful ensembles. I am digging the brown

And are him and Barry still talking or is that the same shot?

I've gotta be honest: Every time I wear a suit, I'm bored to death.

Re: All-Star Thread
I had picked Holliday and missed most of the beginning...wow - low scorer. I usually like to see the guy who has 14 in round 1 and nothing left for round 2.

Re: All-Star Thread
Who's the guy last year or the year before who got 24 or 25? That took like a half hour. It was amazing.

Second round is usually the high scoring one - but so far its been boring. Perhaps its because of Alex's suit

Not my favorite choice.
I think it's cool that Ryan Howard came to defend his title even though he wasn't named to the team..I like him.
He should fire whoever was throwing his pitches though...bad job.
