Will we have an All Star in the outfield this year?
No one deserves it at this point, do we need to bring up one of the Kevins or make a trade? Jeter, Arod and Posada need some help

There's still time, but no, the yanks will not have an all-star in the outfield. What on earth does that have to do with calling up mediocre minor leaguers or making a trade?

Matsui is the only one with a shot because he gets so many international votes

Quite a guarantee, given his vote-getting history.

Yep. Gold Gloves and All-Star selections are popularity contests. Not to be rude, but does anyone really think that Jeter has been the best defensive shortstop in the AL for the last three years?

So Jeter has only been popular for the last 3 years?

Our next outfield all star will be Jose Tabata.

Re: Will we have an All Star in the outfield this year?
Does anyone care? The all star team is a joke. Matsui and Damon have started slow, but I'm not worried about them. Matsui will be fine because he's Matsui and so will Damon if they continue to give him time off periodically. Both of them still have good OBP. I'll admit at this point I'm concerned about Abreu, like I was about A-Rod last year for a period. I still think if we give it time he will come around.
Their offense has been replaced of course by the best start by a left side of the infield I've ever seen.

We shouldn't...
“I mean, people knew that Brown was out there, and that Randy was ornery all the time. And Pavano is whoever he is. But if you’re their manager, you can’t go out and write about them like that.”

We should've kept Bubba Crosby. He's an AS OF, him and Alphabet are the grittiest players in baseball.
