NJ Governor Corzine Badly Injured In Car Crash
Hmm. The Governor of New Jersey messed up in a motorcade accident. And not wearing a seatbelt! Whoops.
http://abclocal.go.com/wabc/story?se...cal&id=5205684
He suffered a broken leg, sternum and collar bone, six ribs fractured on each side.
A slight break in lower vertebrae.
There's a laceration on the governor's head, but tests show no sign of brain injury.
If he thinks he's in pain now, just wait until he gets his next car insurance bill! Maybe NOW that will get some front-burner attention on Corzine's plate, eh?
(Sorry, I'm in a wise-ass mood today. Must be Friday!)Waiting for Sterling to retire so I can start listening to games on the radio again...

Amazing that you can be worth hundreds of millions, but still not know what a seatbelt is for.

This should really be a lesson to all those people who still refuse to wear their seatbelts regardless of the law.

He is on a respirator and has a long difficult recovery to look forward to. With his injuries, the respirator and confinement to a hospital bed he is prone to blood clots and infections. He truly has a lot of work to do to get healthy again.
Wish him well. From the little we Jerseyites have seen of him as Governor, he appears to have been good for the state. Hopefully he recovers and can accomplish all he has started.

This is a good forum to have this topic.
