The OFFICIAL Notre Dame thread
Based on the fact that Notre Dame football consumes roughly 70% of the NCAA Div 1 Football thread, I think it would be appropriate to have its own thread.

Re: The OFFICIAL Notre Dame thread
They landed All-American Greg Little, a 6'2" 214lb. kid from North Carolina yesterday. I was standing next to him on the sideline before the ND/UNC game and didn't even realize it until my brother pointed him out. From Rivals:
http://notredame.rivals.com/viewpros...40381#scoutingHe’s a running back for the most part in high school but wants to play wide receiver in college. He’s still very raw as a wideout and tends to fight the ball but he has the size and speed to become a dominator down the line. His best projection is at safety or linebacker where his skill set is rarer. Little dominates in his school based on his pure athletic ability and once he focuses on one position, he’ll be better off. On defense he closes on the ball well and has the speed to cover a lot of ground.
Unfortunately they missed out on Aurellious Benn, who chose Illinois.

What team do you support besides the one playing Notre Dame every week?

Jimmy Clausen is overrated.
Quarterback Jimmy Clausen played only 24 minutes in Oaks Christian School's regular-season finale against Santa Paula, but those 24 minutes were ones to remember.
Clausen was nothing short of spectacular Thursday night as he completed 14 of 17 passes for 367 yards and four touchdowns as Oaks Christian captured its 41st consecutive win by beating host Santa Paula 56-0.
Clausen's four touchdowns gave him 130 for his career and put him within two of tying the all-time state record.

Although Michigan beat ND this year.....I would say ND has owned that rivalry in the recent past

1/2 a championship in 60 years. I would try to ignore that too. Trust me a Red Sox fan I'm good at it so I'm more than willing to give ou some pointers on that.

Even though UM has been 2-3 against ND in the last five years, when we lose to ND, it's by the score of one TD or less, whereas in the two times ND lost to UM, those games were blowout losses (38-0 in 2003; 47-21 in 2006).

Oh I definitely wasn't implying you. You've always said that Michigan was the team you cheered for in regards to college football.

Re: The OFFICIAL Notre Dame thread
Whoever the genius is that landed the NBC deal and negotiated the BCS contract that says Notre Dame plays in a BCS game if they're anywhere in the top 12 (is that right, or is top 10?) should be enshrined in the CF Hall of Fame.
