Forum: The Suggestion Box - Forum Help

I was just wondering why I could not start a thread? Am I not allowed to or is there some other reason. Just want to know if there was a problem on my end and if so what can I do. Thanks

Hey I know i'm new to ths forum, and the site does look great but if I may make a suggiestion, how about installing a NYYF Chat room on the site? I think it would be a great way for all of us to interact on game days, and to help the out of towners like me with LIVE updates, or for the times i do get a YES broadcast on MLBN to provide real-time predictions, what I'd do in this situation etc. Thoughts?

Now I need to use it in order to make a new paragraph, since the regular "Enter" key doesn't do it any more. I didn't need this earlier in the week, so why do I need to do this now? I'm using the "NYYF Default", from the lower left hand of the main page.

Any chance I can get access reinstated to the game threads? I think it's been about a year now...

When you post in the ''game thread forum'' does it count twoards your post count? I thought it didnt but the past few days it has... Also somehow I have like 100 more posts than I should have but thats ok with me:)

I cant seem to find where my post count is? Why isnt it under your name?

in the last few weeks, I have suddenly had to sign in every time I try to access the forum. It doesn't matter what device I use (computer, ipad, iphone), what browser I use (FF, IE, Safari, Chrome), or where I am. I always have to sign in, even when I check the "remember me" button. I can't figure out why though. I have changed nothing. any help?

Mods & Admins, I presume that we can start a non-political thread discussing this event soon, since the actual day is next week Sunday. Correct? Thanks. -Brad

I recently read in passing in a thread that it was determined that pictures in threads would now be frowned upon by the mods... Is this true, and if so, why was the decision made? Just curious about the details surrounding it, and if there are any extenuating circumstances for the policy. Thanks so much!

Just out of curiosity, how come posts in the game thread don't count for one's post count?

I mentioned this in another thread, but no one had the same problem. I don't know why it's happening. I changed all my subscriptions to "notify in control panel only" so I don't get all the emails. That worked fine, but now I notice every so often, I get unsubscribed from a thread. I tend to notice when I haven't seen a thread in my list in a while, then when I go to look for it, sure enough, there are new posts there. I have to go to thread tools and subscribe again. I know not everyone...

OK - here's a little suggerstion that I have been caught in before. We are only allowed 150 PMs in our mailbox (sent and received) but the indicator of PM usage is way at the bottom of the page (the Red/Yellow/Green progress bar). Is there any way to get that indicator relocated to the the top of the page? It'd be way easier to see if you need to clear out PMs or not... (Linda - you're full)
