It took a lot of work, and I consulted with several people here (including the commissioners) but attached here is a copy of what I hope will become our League Constitution. It incorporates all our rules and procedures, and I hope I didn't leave anything out.
If you can think of anything that I got wrong, or left out, please post it in this thread.
I'd like to pass this now, rather than during the off-season, so hopefully all the owners will get a chance to look at it.

Boras's Holdouts: Clive
The Lumberjacks: PinstripePride
Those Hobbled Men in their Tattered Stirrups: gdn
Planet Express: JMP08
Saxmania's Swingers: Saxmania
Team of Extraordinary Gentlemen: DontHateOnNumber2
This is the formula for the schedule for a 20 team, 4 division league in which each team plays division opponents twice and all other teams once.
First, teams need to be grouped by division and numbered, 1 through 5 in each division and 1 through 20 for the entire league. Other than that it's not essential that you put them in any particular order, but listing them by the order of last year's finish helps assure that teams won't end up playing each other in the same weeks each year....
Wolvies bid farewell to main stay ace Matt Harvey in his walk year, along with the ever dependable Jonathan Papelbon.
Force in exchange give up Jose Quintana, Jeurys Familia, and Jose De Leon.
Since JDPNYY appears to be indisposed; I'll take the dishonor of week 18's thread.
5 weeks remaining in the season.
The Longnames are easily the best team and have a 9-5 SP advantage this week. A win this week and they pretty much lock in the playoffs (already won h2h against Boras, hold a huge point lead).
The Gehrig has 3 teams tied at the top with the unnamed ones knocking on the door only a game back. Lou's currently hold the top spot based on points and beating Wood and Babe's...
Hobbled Men get
Straight-up swap between unkeepable star pitcher and keepable prospect.

Greg Holland, RP
Jacoby Ellsbury, OF
Kole Calhoun, OF
Arodys Vizcaino, RP
The Yanks give up 2 of their top players, both in their final year of contract, in exchange for an elite outfielder in Kole Calhoun, who can be kept next year in a low round, and Vizcaino, a young pitcher who is just about to become the Braves' closer.
Swapping a few weeks of Samardzija for potentially a couple of years of Fiers. Hey, that sort of rhymes.
Fiers has two keeps left at low rounds, and although he hasn't been particularly good this year, 2014 suggests that he might have the ability to bounce into my keeper selection.
Be seeing you,

SP Julio Urias (mL)
SP Anibal Sanchez
SP Jon Gray (mL)
A lot of offers for Urias this year, but this is the one we've been looking for.
Welcome to week 14
Is a 3 game week, right? We didn't do anything funky with the rules?
the Blasts pick up current ace Greinke and send future ace Walker to Planet Express.
I couldn't turn down a chance to pick up a huge SP in trying to go for it this year.
I'm in 2nd place and suck in points; there is absolutely no way this trade imbalances the league.
The Force acquire:
SP Scott Kazmir
OF Alex Gordon
OF/1B/3B Chris Davis
in exchange the Gents get:
SP Robbie Ray (keeper value)
1B/OF Chris Colabello (keeper value)
OF Avisail Garcia
mL Blake Snell (BA midseason top 50)
The Force receive:
SP Jose Quintana
SP Carlos Rodon
The Force, with their eyes on winning now, reluctantly send SP Carlos Rodon to the Miko's for Quintana. The Force sacrifice a potential ace for next season to acquire the currently more polished Jose Quintana (who has some keeper value as well) to bolster their rotation for a playoff push.
Does anyone want to discuss why we penalize for errors? I'd be in favor of reducing or eliminating that penalty for hitters. Seems unrelated to their hitting and it affects such a small percentage of hitters, frankly. Seems pointless to have it.
Cole Hamels is coming to the Jacks for Francisco Lindor, Raul Mondesi, Jr. and Alex Guerrero.
Yasiel Puig and Wade Davis go from Miko's typoed team to Springfield for Maikel Franco and Jake McGee.
