All your mega-thread goodness is right here. (Formerly Inside the Lines)
Here's a list of all of the performance threads:
2009 Performance Threads:
Players without a thread:
We tried to give everyone a little extra leeway the past week or so to allow everyone to vent, but now that things have calmed down a little I would just like to remind everyone that the community standards apply not just regarding posts about players or your fellow users, but also when you're posting about those in Yankees management. We encourage everyone to post their opinions freely, positive or negative, about the Yankees management or anything else, but please make sure to do so in an...
The mega-threads, i.e "The Official Player X Performance Thread" have their purpose for discussions such as general commentary and analysis about the players or their performance in recent games. In addition, we don't want users to start a new thread for every little thought about a particular player or game. However, there are some topics that are important enough to have their own thread. We encourage users to start new threads about players or the team when there's something newsworthy.
From his Facebook:
"Starting off the new year in the cage"
He's the starting center fielder tonight.
It looks like we don't have one for Beltran ... might as well start it.
It's only spring training and a couple of games, but I can't believe how bad he looks at the plate. I can't imagine he can stay long in the #3 spot.
The official thread with the correct spelling!
Home run today. Hoping for a good year for him.
Looking great tonight.
Posted this in the '14 performance thread, thought I'd start up a new one for '15 as well. If he stays healthy, I predict ace-like results this year.
Pineda looked awesome today. Command, velocity, offspeed stuff... all looked awesome.
Baseball gods... please let him stay healthy.
If Pineda, Tanaka and Eovaldi pitch like their stuff indicates they can and stay healthy this rotation has the potential to be top notch. Add in any rebound from CC/Nova...
quote after last night's game:
not sure what he was trying to say, nor the context, but i dig it :smokin:
just because we could use one.
What's the point of speed if you have terrible base awareness, get thrown out all the time, get picked off all the time, and then not even get on base because you strike out all the time?
I'm excited for this kid to get called up and hope Joe gets him in a game ASAP. The Yankees think highly of him, so I'm hopefully he'll be used regularly and not treated like Pinder.
He doubled and then got out at third on a ground ball to Buehrle, but if he had stayed at second and it had been a groundout for Ellsbury, he wouldn't have scored if the other two outs were the same.
Age in 2015: 25
Hard thrower averaging top 5 fast ball velocity in the game, but has not been able to translate velocity into dominance for lack of a lethal out pitch and command on breaking pitches. Threw 200 innings for first time in career last year, with a 3.3 FIP but ERA over 4.
Here is a thread for updates on injuries. Twitter feeds can be embedded here for all to enjoy.
This thread may also lighten the requests to the powers that don't be to allow tweets to be embedded in ITL.
Have at it...
At age 33, he's pitching for the first time. I'm surprised he didn't have a topic yet.

Since we have enough relief pitchers now to populate a small country, it will be interesting to see how the organization manages these assets. The way Cashman has hunted down and stockpiled hard throwers, I suspect there will be a pretty active shuttle between the big club and the farm all season. A steady flow of fresh arms should keep the pen from burning out, especially since we're not sure what to expect from a fragile rotation.
What's the consensus on who should close? Miller, or...
His mustache gets an 80, but i thought his pitch framing would be better... seems very posada-esque in giving up on a lot of borderline pitches, which is annoying
