I guess you should discuss football in here.

I haven't been to a Ranger game nor really followed hockey for quite a while, so when my brother-in-law offered me two free tickets to last Sunday night's Ranger game against Minnesota, I joyfully accepted -- and took my older daughter with me. What's with the black uniforms, huh? For some reason, I just couldn't picture them as the NY Rangers that I knew and loved. From what I could judge from the fans in the seats, most of them who wore Ranger jerseys wore the traditional blue with red and...
Man am I ever tired of all the hoopla and media attention given the Super Bowl. I know that I am excited to see the Gints there but the excess of publicity has really gotten to me. Two weeks is absolutely too much time between the divisional Championships and the SB.
I was listening to FAN yesterday hoping to hear a little about baseball. Nothing! But Suzyn Waldman was in Tampa in a convention hall with 3000 other media representatives and even she was tired of all the media attention. ...
This guy is one of my favorite sports columnists here in the Tampa Bay area. For a different perspective on the game, try reading this.

Good evening, everyone. Everybody having a good time? Anyone here from Jersey? Yeah. My name is Tony Siragusa, and I'm from Kenilworth. Thank you. How Italian is Kenilworth? Every Sunday morning, a mother...
It would appear that the NHL will once again have the privilege of having "Le Magnifique" (is my spelling right, KC?!?) back on the ice, rejoining forces with the game's best player, Jaromir Jagr.
As a Rangers fan this is bad news but seeing the bigger picture it will be great to see Lemieux once again. It was unfortunate that he was forced to retire so early due to a bout with Hodgkins and back ailments but now that he's healthy and has the desire to return I can only see this being good...
The Rams seem to have a decent hoops team this year. A young man from my town plays for them and is having a good year. Duke Freeman-McKamey. It would be great to see them somehow get into the NCAA tournament.
Gotta love those teams from the Bronx! :)
I guess you can add the Bills too. My Q is, is there a rivalry between the Giants and the Jets? Like there is between the Mets and Yanks.
golf? I get made fun of a lot because I like to play the game of golf. It's very relaxing... I wish my school had a golf team, that would be cool. What's the lowest score ya ever had? I had a 96 once, it was pretty cool... I want to break the 80s one day, but it'll never happen. I had a 147 one day when it was raining really bad and it was hard to see.

Bucs assistant lands Jets job
OK .. I am going to Tampa ... got my Superbowl tix...and I am NOT a Giant fan ... though for personal reasons...I am rooting for them...so to all my friends on this WONDERFUL WEBSITE ... what kind of sign should I make for you guys ... hopefully it will be aired!! I wish I was rich enough to bring you all with me ... I can't but I can at least acknowledge THE PREMIER YANKEE WEBSITE ... and the coolest bunch of people I know ... and for all you Giant fans ... and us poor Jet fans ... hey at...
Wow, who woulda thunk it? Pretty unreal.
Just watch out for Ray Lewis. He's pretty nasty during Super Bowl week.
Ok boys and girls, this is it. The G-men are 60 minutes from the SuperBowl. One more victory over the Vikes is all it will take. One measly W.
I think they can do it! The Vikes D is lousy enough to allow the Giants to score often. Their secondary and pass rush are both very suspect which I think means that Collins will be throwing downfield all day long. That of course softens up the front so that Tiki can do his thing.
And our own defense has been spectacular lately. I'm hoping that...
One heck of a game!
Is it too late to become a football fan? i know coming in when they are on their way to a champiosnhip but I feel as if maybe I should support them just like I do with the Yanks? Should i do that?
What a game?
WoW - Go Giants!
New York is the capital of the world, but hey, we already knew that.
Yankees, World Series, Giants, Super Bowl.
I nevah, evah, nevah get over the thrill and pride of being born in New York.
G I A N T S !!!!!!!!!!!!!
p.s. yeah they play in jersey but everyone knows that jersey is a suburb of new york.......
I don't want to jinx anything, but let's just say I'm surprised that the 34 points have been scored by the Giants. And mostly by the OFFENSE. No one could have predicted this and not been laughed at.
Geeeeeaaaaaiiiinntsssss .... !!!!
3 in 2001 !!!
Anyone else find it funny that Lawrence Taylor is on the back pae of the paper rallying the Giants about PRIDE? Isn't this a guy who has been caught numerous times smoking crack with lowlifes?
I don't want to jinx them, but I LOVE the start here!!! There's not even 2 1/2 minutes gone. Keep it going Giants.

Jets hire Bradway, but still need coach
HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. -- The New York Jets acted quickly to replace Bill Parcells, hiring Kansas City's Terry Bradway as their general manager on Thursday.
Parcells quit as Jets director of football operations Tuesday, 10 days after Al Groh resigned as coach to become coach at Virginia. Bradway will hire the new coach.
Well, Bill Parcells has officially stepped down as director of football operations for the Jets, he said he doesn't have the commitment level for the job. How long do you think it will be before he's coaching somewhere else?
Like it's not hard enough being a Jets fan! I don't know whether to be mad or sad, but I am not happy! :(
Man, Lewis really had a helluva game. It should be a great AFC Championship game next week,

The Washington Redskins have hired Marty Schottenheimer as their head coach.
The team planned to announce the hiring this afternoon and officially introduce Schottenheimer at a news conference Thursday, sources said.
Schottenheimer, 57, coached the Cleveland Browns and Kansas City Chiefs for 15 seasons before resigning as the Chiefs coach in January 1999. He is the...
