  1. My Knicks

Just wanted to post that the back-to-back games of the Knicks and the Pacers have been awesome. Both were come from behind wins for the Knicks. It's nice to see a couple of really good wins in a row and a solid effort from this inconsistent team! Let's hope we really start to rack up the wins now! Don't want to lose that home court advantage! :D :D :D Rita

  2. Alex Rodriguez leaves team!!

Couldn't resist...;) Archery Coach Resigns Unexpectedly by Adam Braun Spectator Staff Writer Columbia Archery Head Coach Alex Rodriguez resigned Wednesday afternoon, ending his three-year tenure. Assuming the position on an interim basis will be Assistant Coach Mitch Waldman. The Athletic Department cited "personal reasons" for his departure. 4. Goring Out as Islanders Coach

Well, It's about time they did something! I guess last nights 6-0 humiliation was the straw that broke the camel's back! Now if only Wang weren't tied to Milbury, maybe we'de get somewhere-I guess half a loaf is better than none -though I think the Islanders problems are deeper than their coaching! There's always next year (or the year after that!)

  5. What should the NY Giants do at the draft?

Draft day is right around the corner and i was wondering what the Giants should focus their attention on? my first thought was Defense, mainly the DB's. Sehorn and the rest of the saftys are great but they need some one that can handle the other corner position. Mcdanial did great i thought this year at the nickle position and i would hate to start him at the other corner position becuase his size and speed is a question in my eyes but at the nickle he's perfect, because he's able to make...

  6. XFL!!??...

I was wondering what everybody here thought about this new league. Does anyone know what the names of the teams are and where they play and what day the games are on? What is the name of the NY area team? I hope it isn't the WWF on a football field, but I'll take anything to hold me over until the season starts. :) I'm just not a fan of Hockey or Basketball so I'm hoping this might be something to watch.

  7. Fleury Enters Substance Abuse Program

This just in! Fleury is out indefinitely while entering a substance abuse program, but no details have been released. Just what the Rangers needed. Here's hoping he gets the help he needs and cleans up. http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/news/ap/20010228/ap-rangersfleury.html

Anyone else out there follow tennis? I enjoy watching it and playing it. Venus Williams lost in 2 sets today in some tournament she's in. Did anyone else see the Simpsons when the Williams, Agassi, and Sampras were on there? Hilarious!

  12. Are The Johnnies Going To Make The Big Tourney?

The St. John's Red Storm are at 12-9 at this point of the season. March Madness is right around the corner, and there's a good shot they won't make it. Do you think they'll pull through? I hope so... -jim

  15. Dale Jr. driving # 3?

I heard that Dale Ernhardt's black # 3 may never be retired. NASCAR never retires numbers, look at Richard Petty's # 43. I couldn't think of anyone more fitting to drive the # 3 car than Dale Jr. It would be a great way to honor Dale. It would make me feel alot better knowing that the # 3 car is being drove by an Ernhardt, and not someone else. I think Dale Sr. would be proud to have his son carry on his legacy. But I never heard anyone mention this possibility. Does anyone else feel the...

  17. Any Disgruntled Rangers Fans out There?

My, oh my. It seems unbelievable that the Rangers are going to miss the playoffs for a fourth straight season but sure enough, like clockwork, they went into their annual tailspin and, as always, the result was disastrous. I could go on and on about how god awful they're playing right now but that would only be stating the obvious. Hopefully Glen Sather will start trading away some of these high priced veterans cursed with incredibly bad karma and get some prospects in return. Richter,...

  18. Now We Have Mutombo!

It wasn't broke so I'm not so sure anything needed fixed. BUT, we now have the NBA's leading rebounder to throw outlet passes to Alan "Rocker" Iverson. Wow, the ONLY Philly team I ever cared about is looking pretty damn good right now. Larry Brown HAS to be the frontrunner for the Coach of the Year (and perhaps a Nobel). He actually has I-I-Iverson playing like a team player this year! Go Sixers!

  20. "Who owns New York? C-O-L-U-M-B-I-A!!!"

Not like you guys really care... sheesh, it's Ivy league sports for crying out loud, so who really cares? But Columbia beat both Princeton and UPenn in men's basketball this weekend, and they haven't done that since 1986!!! A happy day to show my Lion pride!!!!!:D:D:D:D (This'll probably be the only time you'll see "Columbia" and "win" used in the same sentence without a negative of any kind...;), so I'm milking the opportunity....)
