I guess you should discuss football in here.
2016 NFL Season Thread

I'm a pretty big Rutgers fan, alumni, season ticket holder etc. and the general consensus in the fand I've chatted with is that the Scarlet Knights of Rutgers will most likely be headed to the Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium.
Pinstripe Bowl takes the #4 team from the Big East.
The way I see it, Rutgers will very likely go either 7-5 or maybe 8-5 which would put them smack dab in the middle of the Big East with a very strong possibility of being 4th in the Big East.
The only way this...
I cant believe that parking for tonights Jets and Redskins game is $50 at the stadium. Absolutely crazy. Add in the fact that scalpers were selling lower level seats with a $140 face for $40 ($100 loss per ticket) and you can see how bad these new PSL holders are getting the shaft.
PGA is jokes. Just cost Dustin Johnson a chance in a playoff. what a ................ing joke.
I aqm tired of WFAN and 1050 ignoring hockey, while talking about that neanderthal sport called the NBA.
The NHL is a tough sport to play and the prize, the Stanley Cup, is the most coveted in sports.
The NBA..wow...some trophy awarded since 1950.
Spurs pull of a pretty big trade.
The Milwaukee Bucks agreed to trade Richard Jefferson to the San Antonio Spurs for Bruce Bowen, Kurt Thomas and Fabricio Oberto, a Bucks source told ESPN.com.
The Giants or the Jets?
And when is Rex gonna shut up?
At the moment, John Daly is -7 under thru 13 holes. Tiger is -1 on the 6th green.
No wind as of yet, but expected to pick up in due course.
Obviously he's not as good as he once was, but unlike Beckham was when he came to the US, he's still close to the top of his game.
Ok my fellow football/soccer fans,
You want to talk about the World Cup?
You got it right here in this thread.
From the qualifying matches in UEFA (Europe), AFC (Asian), CONCACAF (North and Central America), CONMEBOL (South America), CAF (Africa), and OFC (Oceania) in 2007 to the final whistle on July 11, 2010, you can cover the 2010 FIFA World Cup right here.
Detailed article discussing the off and on the court negative ramifications of LeBron Jamesí decision to leave Cleveland for Miami, while strangely making the announcement right outside of New York City. Included is some rare video of James from his days in Cleveland.
If you want to rant about the 2010 Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest, you can do so here.
It's on this Sunday, July 4, 2010 from the corner of Surf and Stillwater at Coney Island, Brooklyn on ESPN at Noon ET/9:00 AM PT.
Another year, another tournament from SW19 for Wimbledon.
It's Ladies and Gentlemen time again with some Strawberries and Cream.
June 21-July 4
Impressive performance by this young man last night... Gamecocks baby! Interestingly enough, South Carolina was in the same situation in 2002 (had to beat Clemson twice to get in the finals...which they did and lost to Texas).
Figured I would start this thread now.
Draft Tavares please.
Figured I'd start this since the draft is tonight.
Okay hockey fans,
Please post everything hockey right here in this brand new NHL thread for the 2009-10 season.
Yes including offseason news and Jacques (aka Montrealer) and the other pundits covering the draft.
Also, regular season coverage including standing updates and Winter Classics. And put all Stanley Cup postseason posts here and NHL awards for the 2009-10 season.
As for the Olympic Tournament, I'll post a separate thread when the Olympics approach.
What he did after his basketball career was no short of amazing. Rest in peace. :(
Another year, another tournament in the terre battue (red clay) in Roland Garros for the French Open.
May 23-June 6
Very sad news, I really hope he pulls through. :(
