  1. How Did Lindros Miss That Shot

Sather makes his debut as coach, the Rangers battle back from a 2-0 deficit to take a 3-2 lead only to have Colorado tie it at 3. In OT Lindros misses point blank, I still can't believe he missed it. A minute later the Avalance score to win it in OT.

  2. Cablevision's teams

Boy do i despise Cablevision. Not only do they prevent me from getting YES, but you have to be a masochist to root for the Knicks and Rangers. The Rangers get a whiff of the playoffs, and promptly start stinking up the joint. The Knicks, who the more they win, the less they have a shot at a marquee player like LeBron James, now are acting like they are playoff bound. I give up!

  3. Isles Fans???

Any Isles fans around here? I am a hardcore Isles fan... one problem, I live in Massachusetts, and it's hard to find Isles fans; I find more Rangers fan around. I think they all the Isles fans jumped ship in the last 8 years. So where are you? Come out, come out wherever you are. Rangers fans... remember... only one true hockey team in New York... and they be the Isles.

  4. Looks like Bure's season is over

According to an article in today's Post, he still feels too much pain to skate in a game. He is concerned, and so are the Rangers. Let's hope it's just this season that's shot and not his career.

  5. Half-time show

One last thing: I just figured I'd ask people what they felt about the half-time show. Might as well discuss, since it's part of it all. Now I trust that if someone has read this far, they'll at least start a Game Thread here, won't they? If not, I'm kicking all of your arses, so open your front doors!!!

  9. What do you think of the game?

I figured I'd asked, so that people can at least talk about how well they thought the game was played. Might as well as now. BTW, anyone offering comments on the game before it's even started gets their arse kicked and put into a cage w/some horny-arsed ape!!!

  12. I knew the real Rangers were out there somewhere

Ahhhhh, there they are. For a while there I didn't recognize this team, but now they're looking like the Rangers I know and love - dropping 2 straight to a couple of crappy teams. Classic. (edit: ok, Wash isn't that crappy, but it was still ugly...)

  14. What's happened to the Knicks?

After a horrible start, the Knicks seem to have really turned it around a little, and may even have a shot at the playoffs. If only McDyess hadn't hurt his knee....:barf:

  19. Tony Gwyn coaching at San Diego State

I figured I'd post this, since it was on the web a few times. I wouldn't mind seeing how he'd handle that job and transfer his own skills into the youngsters. http://msn.espn.go.com/mlb/columns/caple_jim/1498208.html Friday, January 24 Just call him, coach Gwynn By Jim Caple ESPN.com They're playing a football game of some note in San Diego this weekend, but the city's most famous sports figure has a more important game several hundred miles away in Tempe, Ariz.
